I’m C.L. Stambush, a women’s travel memoir author who believes the road is a mirror — reflecting our journeys of self-discovery and the courage it takes to transform.

A Journey of Self-Discovery.

My writing life began in Southern Indiana, where nature and storytelling women shaped my imagination.

At age five, I wrote about a lost chick searching for her place in the world — a story that mirrored my lifelong journey of self-discovery and my desire to explore the world through words.

Today, as a women’s travel memoir author, I continue that journey, inviting readers to find courage in their own stories.

Empowering Women Through Story.

Storytelling is in my DNA. I learned from my mother and grandmother — two women whose voices taught me to live boldly and speak truth.

Their legacy inspires my purpose: empowering women through storytelling and showing that we can all go, do, and be who we truly are.

Words That Sparked Adventure and Transformation.

While my mother and grandmother taught me the importance of stories, it was my father who sparked my sense of adventure and independence with ten words that changed everything:

“You can go anywhere, do anything, be anyone you want.”

Those words became my compass—guiding me across continents, onto a motorcycle in India, and into a life of travel, transformation, and writing.

They continue to inspire my work as a memoirist and motivational storyteller, helping others embrace their own journeys of freedom and reinvention.
